30 in 30, day 1 & 2

Day 1, "Labor Day at Sandy

Day 2, "Morning Sail"

In a moment of braveness I decided to take on Leslie Saeta's 30 Paintings In 30 Days challenge for the month of September.  Always looking to improve my skills, I hope this challenge will create the habit of painting frequently.  With the kids back in school, scheduling time to paint should be more realistic.  I managed to paint on Labor Day and found a lovely spot to paint this morning on this very hot, first day of school right by the harbor with a nice breeze.  The only problem - today's painting was a complete wipe off!  The painting for Day 2 that I am posting here is one I started earlier in the summer.  The pressure is on....

Thank you for viewing my art.

Good for you, Amber! I look forward to seeing your daily results. And, ambitious!! Painting in this heat on the first day back to school. Nice hazy atmosphere.

Love, love, love the sailboats in front of Button Island
